Kingston man charged in stabbing

KINGSTON – A Kingston man was arrested in connection with a stabbing that occurred on Tuesday, August 20.

Kingston City Police were called to the Health Alliance Broadway Campus regarding a man who was admitted with multiple stab wounds.

Detectives began an investigation that led them to an address on Smith Avenue where it was believed the injuries had taken place during a burglary. Evidence was found at the scene.

The following day, August 21, police arrested Orion McLeod, 47, who was charged with armed assault, burglary, robbery, criminal sex act and unlawful imprisonment.

Kingston Police Department’s Detective Division, Special Investigations Unit and Patrol Division conducted the investigation.
