STONY POINT – A man, who had an order of protection against him by a woman, was arrested by Stony Point Town Police on charges of attempted burglary and criminal contempt.
Police allege Antonio Rochet, 35, attempted to enter the home of the woman who had the order of protection against him by removing an air conditioner from a window after he tried unsuccessfully to gain entry at the front door. The woman called 911.
Rochet was located at the home and arrested. He posted $1,500 bail and is due back in court next month.
