Postal worker threatened by knife-wielding man

CORTLANDT – A Cortlandt man was arrested after he allegedly pulled a knife on a postal worker at the Mohegan Lake Post Office on East Main Street in the Town of Cortlandt.

State Police investigation found that Charles Coles, 54, allegedly used a pocket knife to threaten the employee in the parking lot on July 26.

Coles was charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon and a misdemeanor of menacing.  He was placed in the Westchester County Jail
