Woman charged with machete threat

SAUGERTIES – A Saugerties woman has been arrested on a charge of menacing after she allegedly threatened another person with a machete.

The incident at 1 Sawkill Road in Saugerties allegedly occurred on July 8 during a domestic dispute.

Olivia Yonenetti, 40, was released on her own recognizance with a court issued order of protection on behalf of the victim.
