Liberty man arrested with over 1,000 bags of heroin

LIBERTY – Village Police in Liberty arrested a local man on Monday following a traffic stop when he was found in possession of about 1,030 bags of heroin.

Justin Ellis, 33, of Liberty was charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle as a misdemeanor. He was sent to the Sullivan County Jail without bail.
