ROSENDALE – A Rosendale woman drowned in the Rondout Creek and town police said it is believed to have been accidental.
Authorities were alerted to an unconscious, unresponsive woman in the creek near Webster Lock Road in the Town of Rosendale just before 5 p.m. on July 13. First responders attempted to administer lifesaving measures to Barbara Klueber, 44, who had been swimming in the creek.
Rosendale Police and the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to investigate the incident.
