ALBANY – The Highland Falls-Fort Montgomery Central School District will receive $40,000 to assist with infrastructure development.

The funds were secured by Senator James Skoufis (D, Woodbury).

“Investing in our schools’ infrastructure is an absolute necessity as it will prepare our classrooms for future generations of learning,” he said.

“As we moved through the budget process, challenging decisions were made regarding allocations, balancing student needs with those of taxpayers of the community,” said Superintendent Frank Sheboy. “Over the past few years, these decisions have meant a reduction in infrastructure and equipment. This aid will enable the district to restore a number of items that were reduced.”
