WAPPINGER – State Police released a surveillance image of a suspect in the Tuesday robbery of the Trustco Bank branch at 1490 Route 9 in Wappinger in hopes of identifying the person.
The bank was robbed just before noon when the individual, wearing a ski mask and carrying an umbrella, came in and threatened to set off an explosive.
The robber gained access to the vault and made off with a reported $20,000 to $30,000 in cash.
