TOWN OF RAMAPO – Town Police in Ramapo are continuing to investigate the hitting of two pedestrians by a hit-and-run driver around 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday. They were walking on Route 45 near Washington Avenue.
One person was taken to Montefiore Nyack Hospital and the other was transported to Westchester Medical Center. Their conditions were not immediately known.
Ramapo Police are asking anyone who may have seen the pedestrians in that area or who may have information as to possible suspect vehicle to call them at 845-357-2400 or use the Tip411 app on their cell phone.
