POUGHKEEPSIE – Police in the City of Poughkeepsie are investigating
a residential armed robbery in the Hudson Pointe complex.

Just before 6 p.m. on Friday, December 21, a man answered when the doorbell
rang and was confronted by a black man with a gun who pushed his way inside.

He robbed the victim of $100, his watch and cell phone before fleeing
on foot. The victim’s phone was recovered on Pine Street.

Surveillance video showed the suspect going to several different apartment
doors before going to the victim’s.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the robbery is asked to call
