Mount Vernon man charged with four armed cab carjackings

WHITE PLAINS – A Mount Vernon man was arrested on federal charges in connection with four armed carjackings in Mount Vernon and the Bronx in the early morning hours of November 25 and 29.
Samir Sullivan, 32, also known as “S,” is charged with four counts of carjacking, which carry a maximum sentence of 15 years in state prison.
Sullivan allegedly used a gun to take cabs from four drivers, who were doing their jobs transporting passengers. In three cases, Sullivan allegedly stole money.
