Postal worker charged with stealing thousands of dollars worth of stamps

WHITE PLAINS – A Peekskill Post Office employee has been charged
with stealing approximately 14,000 stamps worth over $6,000 from the Postal
Service while working and then sold them online.

The stamps were taken between July and October 2017.
Antonio Pinheiro, 44, of Westtown was charged with felony grand larceny.

His arrest on December 4 followed a joint investigation by the US Postal
Inspection Service and the Westchester County District Attorney’s
Investigation Division.
