Lagalante
PLATTEKILL – A vehicle and traffic stop on the Thruway Tuesday
night resulted in the arrest of a Brooklyn man onfelony charges of criminal
possession of marijuana.
State troopers said Umberto Lagalante, 23, had in his possession approximately
5.4 pounds of marijuana and marijuana cigarettes containing some 101 grams
of concentrated cannabis.
Lagalante was also charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana as
well as a violation for unlawful possession of marijuana. He was arraigned
and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
