TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – Police in the Town of Poughkeepsie concluded a two-month investigation into a report of identity theft with the arrest of a City of Poughkeepsie woman.
Kaihla Thompson, 20, allegedly stole credit card information belonging to a Town of Poughkeepsie resident and then used it to make fraudulent purchases totaling over $3,000. She was charged with identity theft and grand larceny, both as felonies and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
