More “Operation Street Sweeper” warrant arrests Highland Falls

HIGHLAND FALLS – Operation Street Sweeper continued early Friday morning as police executed search warrants at two locations in the Village of Highland Falls and arrested three people. Since the operation began on June 1, eight people have been arrested.
At about 5 a.m. on Friday, Highland Falls Police and Orange County Sheriff’s deputies executed the warrants.
One, in apartment 16 at 467 Main Street, resulted in the arrest of the resident, Kenneth Tatum, 50, who was charged with two counts of drug possession. Police seized 8.5 grams of cocaine and over $11,000 in cash. He was sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.
Nucole Lewis, 39, of Newburgh, who was also in the apartment, was charged with two counts of drug possession and sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
Police also raided 14 Schneider Avenue in Highland Falls and arrested resident Patrick Perdue, 42, who was under investigation for sale and possession of narcotics. He is in jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $3,000 bond.
