WAPPINGERS FALLS – Police in the Village of Wappingers Falls have concluded that there was no malicious intent when a vehicle approached a man and two children as they walked to a school bus stop on Route 9 and asked them if they needed a ride.
The incident occurred on September 21 at 8:20 a.m. and on Tuesday police said the vehicle was from a car service that was in the area attempting to locate a customer who had requested to be picked up.
“At this time there is no indication of malicious intent by the operation of the car services,” said Lt. P. Capparelli.
