New York man arrested for submitted forged scripts for opioids in area pharmacy

GOSHEN – The Orange County Drug Task Force has arrested a Manhattan
man on charges that he submitted forged prescriptions in order to secure
Oxycodone and Oxymorphone pills from Dolsontown Pharmacy in Wawayanda.

The task force, Orange County Sheriff’s Office and Bureau of narcotic
Enforcement arrested Eugene Anthony Lloyd, 64, of Park Avenue in New York
on Wednesday, October 9.

As a result of his arrest, police seized 120 Oxycodone pills, 360 Oxymorphone
pills and $3,780 in cash.

The street value of the pills is $21,000.

Lloyd was charged with felonies of criminal possession of a controlled
substance and criminal possession of a forged instrument and a misdemeanor
of criminal possession of stolen property.

Lloyd was remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash
or $300,000 bond.
