NEWBURGH – The limousine
that crashed in Schoharie on Saturday killing all 18 occupants, including
the driver, as well as two pedestrians, has the same name as a man who
was an FBI informant in an infamous Newburgh terrorist plot, Reuters reported
on Monday.

The news service reported the limousine company owner’s name, Shahed
Hussain, is the same as that of the former FBI informant.

Hussain posed as a radical militant who helped the government take down
four men who had plotted to blow up two Jewish community centers in Westchester
County and shoot down C-5A cargo planes at the New York Air National Guard
Base at Stewart Airport in the Town of Newburgh. (See

State Police said the limousine company, Prestige, was in Saratoga County.
Reuters reported the phone line for the company was disconnected.
