TOWN OF WOODBURY – Two
Cobleskill men were arrested after State Police stopped the car in which
they were riding on the Thruway in the Town of Woodbury around 9 p.m.
on Tuesday.
Police found 2.6 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle and charged the driver,
Brandon Burrell, 24, and passenger Kahleel Taylor, 23, with felony criminal
possession of marijuana. Burrell was also charged with a violation of
unlawful possession of marijuana as well as vehicle and traffic violations.
Both men were remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash
bail or $5,000 bond.
