NEWBURGH – The City of Newburgh is apparently in the market for a new comptroller.  Officials say Katie Mack has resigned.
She stepped down during the city’s 2019 budget process. No explanation for her resignation was given; however, Councilwoman Hillary Rayford mentioned Mack’s departure at Thursday night’s council meeting.
Mack did not attend the first couple of preliminary budget work sessions.
Mack could not be reached for comment.
