CATSKILL – A Greene County
grand jury has handed down a seven-count indictment against a man in connection
with drug possession.
Raymond Saunders, 27, was charged with three counts of criminal sale of
a controlled substance, being heroin, and another three counts of criminal
possession of drugs with intent to sell, as well as one count of endangering
the welfare of a child.
Saunders was arrested on Thursday, August 30 and remanded to the Greene
County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
The arrest comes following an investigation conducted by the Greene County
District Attorney’s Office, State Police, Greene County Sheriff’s
Office and Catskill Village Police Department.
