WASHINGTON – Agricultural
producers in Columbia and Dutchess counties, who suffered losses and damages
from recent excessive and strong winds, hail, lightning and a tornado,
may be eligible for USDA Farm Service Agency emergency loans.
Producers in contiguous counties of Greene, Orange, Putnam, Rensselaer and Ulster are also eligible to apply for emergency loans.
Those producers impacted in the designated counties will have until April 1, 2019 to apply for emergency loans to help cover part of their actual losses.
