State trooper injured in one-car crash in Columbia County

STOCKPORT – A State trooper
assigned to the Livingston barracks sustained injuries late Tuesday night
when her marked police patrol vehicle ran off Route 9 in the Town of Stockport,
struck an embankment and tree before overturning.

State Police said Trooper Theresa Filippini was driving south when her
vehicle ran off the road near Columbiaville bridge.

She was alone in the vehicle when the 11:15 p.m. incident occurred.

Filippini was treated and released at Albany Medical Center for non-life
threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
