Man killed by CSX train in Blauvelt

BLAUVELT – A Blauvelt man was struck and killed by a CSX train in Blauvelt on Tuesday night.
Orangetown Police said Enda Caulfield, 36, was hit by the train around 7:45 p.m. one-quarter mile south of Bradley Hill Road. He was dead at the scene.
Orangetown detectives and CSX Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
