Coxsackie man arrested for drug possession

COXSACKIE – A two-month investigation into drug sales in the Village of Coxsackie ended with the arrest on Thursday of a local man at his Mansion Street home.
Authorities executed a warrant at the home of Alexander Mazariego, 22, and seized four ounces of cocaine. He was arrested and charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and sent to the Greene County Jail without bail.
The investigation was conducted by State Police, Greene County District Attorney’s Office and the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.
