MONTGOMERY – Orange County Airport will get a $319,000 FAA grant to fund a component of the facility’s updated master plan.
That update will look at the airport’s growth going 10 years out, said Airport Director Ed Magryta.
“The master plan is an entire review of the airport’s function and a 10-year forecast of activity at the airport to include construction activities, utilization of the airport, planned growth and environmental factors related to that growth,” Magryta said.
This federal money will cover the environmental component of that study.
The airport will also receive a $135,900 grant for a review of all potential runway obstructions.
