KINGSTON – A Marlboro
woman was arrested on drug possession charges as a drug investigation
continues.

The Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team began investigating
a drug trafficking organization in the Hudson Valley on June 6 after Marlboro
Town Police responded to a house fire on Bingham Road.
The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office and URGENT then executed six
search warrants in less than 24 hours in the towns of Marlboro and Newburgh.
Based on evidence collected from the warrant searches, URGENT made an
additional arrest in the case.

Leslie Roman, 37, of Bingham Road in Marlboro was arrested after she was
located in the City of Poughkeepsie. She was charged with two counts of
felony possession of marijuana and committed to the Ulster County Jail
with additional charges pending.
Several other arrests are anticipated, police said.
