Dr. Adsit to freshmen: “We’re going
to do this together”
NEWBURGH – Some 400 members of the class of 2022 have arrived at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh to begin their four-year post-secondary studies.
The college’s new president, Dr. Jason Adsit, told the students they hold a special place in his heart because they are his inaugural class at the Mount.
“Four years from now, in May, you’re all going to walk across the stage and I’m going to give you your diploma,” Adsit told incoming freshman. “In between now and then, we’re going to do this together.”
The incoming class hails from New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and beyond with courses of study for careers in business, nursing, natural sciences and others.
