Carmel man arrested in East Fishkill with meth and heroin

EAST FISHKILL – A Carmel man was arrested after East Fishkill Town Police found crystal methamphetamine and heroin in the car he was driving on Saturday evening, June 28.
Police arrested Brian Flandreau, 39, after they received a report that a man was walking around a driveway at Woodcrest Drive, punching the ground and hitting his head on the ground.
Officers arrived to learn that the man had fled in a white SUV. A short time later it was located on Carpenter Avenue and it was determined that Flandreau was the man who had committed the acts. He was found to have a suspended driver’s license. A clear plastic zip bag containing crystal meth and heroin was found.
Flandreau was charged with criminal possession of drugs, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and aggravate unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He is in the Dutchess County Jail.
