Rockland jail inmate caught with suspected drugs

NEW CITY – A Tuxedo Park woman being held in the Rockland County Jail on misdemeanor drug and prostitution charges, faces new charges of promoting prison contraband as a felony and misdemeanor drug possession.
Sheriff Louis Falco said a K-9 search of a jail cell housing Devon Rose, 22, uncovered several small packets of a brown powdery substance suspected of being heroin. She was arraigned on the new charges and sent back to the county jail.
