Kingston woman charged with stealing vehicle parked outside church

HIGHLAND – A Kingston woman was arrested on Monday on felony charges of grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property after she allegedly stole a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was parked outside St. Augustine’s Church in Highland.
Michelle Cadena, 41, of Kingston was located at a motel in the Town of Ulster along with the vehicle. She was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail or $25,000 bond.
Town of Lloyd Police were assisted by Town of Ulster Police.
