CSX freight train strikes, kills pedestrian

KINGSTON – Kingston City
Police and CSX Railroad officials are investigating a fatal incident in
which a pedestrian was struck and killed by a train at about 11:30 a.m.
Monday.

Railroad officials said the train, en route from Northwest, Ohio to Philadelphia,
struck the pedestrian on the tracks at Broadway in Kingston.

The train consisted of two locomotives and 17 loaded rail cars carrying
mixed freight.
