Two Marlboro students charged following school incident

MARLBORO – Two Marlboro
Middle School students that are suspects in an incident at the school
that resulted in an investigation into the safety of students, have been
charged and will appear in Ulster County Family Court, town police said
on Wednesday.
Police said in a Facebook post that “the safety of the children in our town is paramount to this department and we will always do our absolute best to ensure it.”
Police were alerted earlier this week to a potential safety issue when word spread that a so-called “hit list” was seen or heard about by students in the school.
