NEW CITY – A Brooklyn man pled guilty in Rockland County Court to the violent rape of a woman with whom he had an intimate relationship while inside her 18 Franka Place home in Spring Valley.
On September 9, 2017, Holger Lema-Yaucan, 29, attacked the woman, strangling and punching her in the face several times. His two young children were in the room during the violent rape. He was arrested two days later by Spring Valley Police officers.
Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Zugibe said when sentenced in September, Lema-Yaucan will face eight years in state prison followed by five years of post-release supervision and be required to register as a sex offender.
