Former Vassar College employee arrested for racking up over $6,000 in credit card charges

POUGHKEEPSIE – A woman, who was employed by Vassar College, was arrested on a felony grand larceny charge for allegedly making over $6,000 in unauthorized purchases on a college credit card.
Merlisha Celestin, 34, of Beacon was arrested by Town of Poughkeepsie Police on Tuesday, May 22. She was arraigned and released on her own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
