MONTICELLO – Three suspects
who held up a cell phone store on Jefferson Street in the Village of Monticello
early this afternoon are in custody.
The bandits were chased eastbound on Route 17 and bailed out of their
vehicle on the highway in Bloomingburg. After a short foot pursuit, they
were all apprehended, according to police.
Assisting in the pursuit were State Police, Sullivan County and Orange
County Sheriff’s deputies.
