HYDE PARK – Police have
released the name of the woman killed in a head-on crash on South Quaker
Road in Hyde Park on Monday morning as a Poughkeepsie resident.
Tondra Lashae Walker, 19, was driving a Honda Civic when it collided with
a Red Hook school bus; the vehicles were traveling toward one another.
Walker was partially ejected from her vehicle and pronounced dead at the
scene.
The driver of the bus, James Damico, 63, of Germantown, had three students
and a bus monitor with him at the time of the accident. They were all
taken to the hospital for observation.
