TOWN OF NEWBURGH – A 52-year-old
Town of Newburgh man has been arrested on charges of insurance fraud and
attempted grand larceny, both felonies, in connection with a house fire
on Route 32 in the Town of Newburgh back in October 2013.
The 4 ½-year investigation resulted in the arrest of Alejandro
Perez.
He was arraigned and released pending a future court appearance.
The lead investigator in the case was Newburgh Town Police Sgt. Vincent
Spampinato.
