TOWN OF WALLKILL – Police continue to investigate a shooting that
occurred just before 3:30 Sunday morning in the parking lot in front of
JD’s Sports Bar on Route 211 in the Town of Wallkill.
State Police said the victim, who was shot several times, remains in critical
condition at Orange Regional Medical Center in Wallkill for treatment.
Yellow crime scene police tape was stretched in a large area of the parking
area in front of the bar into the early morning hours.
State Police were assisted at the scene by Wallkill Town and Middletown
City Police.
