LIBERTY – Two Sullivan County men are under arrest following a
traffic stop on Route 17 in the Town of Thompson.
State Police determined the driver, Eric Evans, of Liberty, had a revoked driver’s license and was also in possession of brass knuckles, which are illegal. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a weapon.
The passenger, Christopher Beatty, of Loch Sheldrake, had two outstanding warrants. He was charged with bail jumping.
