Castineiras
NEWBURGH – Police arrested a suspect in the April 5 robbery of
the TD Bank branch at 800 Broadway in the City of Newburgh.
Alexander Castineiras, 29, of Washingtonville was arrested on Tuesday, April 10. He was charged with felony robbery.
At the time of the robbery, police said no weapon was displayed and the robber fled on foot before getting into a vehicle.
Newburgh City detectives were assisted by police in the City of Port Jervis, Town
of Warwick and Village of Greenwood Lake and the Hudson Valley Crime Analysis
Center.
