SAUGERTIES – A Saugerties man is in the Ulster County Jail without bail following his arrest after a traffic stop on Ulster Avenue in the Village of Saugerties.
Saugerties Police arrested Anthony Messina, 61, a passenger in the vehicle, after it was determined that he was wanted on an active arrest warrant in connection with a previous menacing incident. A further computer check revealed he was wanted on a bench warrant for bail jumping.
Messina was charged with menacing and bail jumping.
