Three teens indicted in death of high school student

WHITE PLAINS – Three students at New Rochelle High School have been indicted by a Westchester County grand jury on charges related to the stabbing death of another student.
Valeree Schwab, 16, died the day after she was stabbed on January 10 when she tried to retrieve her house keys that she had dropped.
Z’inah Brown was charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal
possession of a weapon. Brown, Dominique Slack, and Carl Booker, all 17,
were charged with gang assault and stalking. Slack and Booker were also
charged with assault.
Slack and Brown are in the Westchester County Jail without bail. Booker was released on $25,000 bail.
