KINGSTON – An Ulster County Court jury on Friday found Bradley
Cook guilty of robbery for holding up the Key Bank branch on Wall Street
in the City of Kingston on July 24, 2017.

Cook was convicted of walking into the bank in the middle of the summer
dressed in a black hoodie, baseball hat, black sunglasses, a scarf covering
his neck and chin, and latex gloves.

He handed a teller a note demanding money, which read, “no tracers,
no dye bags, no police, nobody gets hurt.” The teller gave him $699,
after which he fled through the rear of the bank.

Kingston City Police began an immediate investigation and with the aid
of a security system image, he was apprehended the same day and later
confessed to the crime.

Cook is scheduled to be sentenced in May.
