Texas man charged with making a terroristic threat against Rockland County Clerk’s Office

NEW CITY – An Austin, Texas man has been arrested by the Rockland
County Sheriff’s Office on charges of making a terroristic threat
and aggravated harassment for making threats toward the Rockland County
Clerk’s Office through their website.

At the time of the incident, Kim Vasquez was on New York State parole
with his supervision being monitored by the state of Texas due to his
relation to Austin.

The investigation revealed that Vasquez had made the threats against the
Rockland Clerk’s Office, but he had also absconded from parole in
Texas and was later apprehended in Congers, New York.

He was remanded to the Rockland County Jail without bail pending a future
court appearance.

He has also been charged with violating conditions of his parole.
