Two arrested on felony drug charges after traffic stop

TOWN OF SOUTHEAST – A
traffic stop on Interstate 84 in the Town of Southeast just before 10
p.m. on Saturday resulted in the arrests of two people and the seizure
of drugs.

Vladimir Revil, 37, of Hempstead and Jessica Sylvester, 34, of Queens,
were each charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and
criminal possession with intent to sell.
When police stopped their car for traffic violations, they observed
an open bottle of liquor and a bag with cocaine when Revil opened the
glove box to retrieve his vehicle registration.

Continued investigation found approximately 313 grams of cocaine.

Both were remanded to the Putnam County Jail without bail.
