Two arrested on Thruway with 10 pounds of pot

CLARKSTOWN – Two Connecticut men were arrested before 3 p.m. on Monday, February 26 after their car ran out of gas on the Thruway in the Town of Clarkstown.
Troopers conducted a probable clause search of their vehicle and its occupants and 10 pounds of marijuana were seized along with $3,700 in cash.
Arrested were Rojay Kidd, 24, and Jason Blair, 27, both of New Haven.  They were each charged with felony criminal possession of marijuana, and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. Blair was also charged with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. Kidd was also charged with vehicle and traffic violations.
