Columbia County man accused of rape

COLUMBIA COUNTY – State Police charged a Columbia County man with first-degree rape for allegedly having sexual contact with a victim under the age of 13.
Andrew Nelson, 22, was arrested on Friday and charged following an investigation by the Columbia County Child Advocacy Center.  He was released on his own recognizance.
Authorities did not provide Nelson’s hometown, where or when the allegedly attack occurred.
