Cornwall man arrested in theft of construction equipment

TOWN OF CORNWALL – A Cornwall man was arrested and charged with five counts of felony criminal possession of stolen property following an investigation by town police in Cornwall and New Windsor.
Michael D’Onofrio, 27, was arrested on Thursday, February 1. He was sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
Recovered during the investigation were three construction trailers, an articulating excavator bucket, and a skid steer snowblower attachment, all reported stolen to New Windsor Police. The combined value of the property was over $25,000.
