POUGHKEEPSIE – Two juveniles
were taken into custody by Poughkeepsie City Police on Wednesday evening
after they were caught shooting BB guns at passing cars.
Police investigated three incidents on Tuesday and Wednesday involving
cars with windows being shattered while they drove in the area of Mill
and North Bridge streets.
Two officers were assigned to monitor the area and on Wednesday evening
they caught the two juveniles while they were shooting.
Two BB guns were turned over to police and the case was forwarded to the
Juvenile Aid Bureau for follow up.
Police are asking anyone whose vehicles were similarly damaged but have
not been reported to call them at 845-451-4000.
